Bellmore Memorial Library Card
Anyone who lives, works or pays taxes within the Bellmore Elementary School District is eligible for a Bellmore Memorial Library card. Applications may be downloaded here or picked up at the Circulation Desk.
Cards shall be issued to any individual who provides proof of identity and residency within the library’s chartered area.
Acceptable Proofs:

· Letter from an employer or school on letterhead |
Documents issued more than one year before your application, or with a P.O. Box listed, will not be accepted.

Digital Library Cards
In an effort to provide improved access to digital resources, BML has enabled the following digital card application. Upon approval, these cards will last for four months. Please note that this card is for digital services only, and cannot be used to borrow physical materials from any of our member libraries, or place requests for physical items from any library. These cards are only available to individuals over 13 years of age. Staff will create your online library card as soon as possible and transmit this information to you by email.

Temporary Library Cards
A temporary, limited use 6-month library card may be issued to adults 18 years or older who are experiencing impermanent and/or transient housing within the Bellmore Union Free School District, and are affiliated with a support organization – such as a shelter, group home, center, institution, or other service provider – to find stable shelter. To obtain a Temporary Library card, a library card application must be completed by the patron, accompanied by a temporary library card form which is to be completed by the affiliated support organization. After submission of both forms, the applicant will be contacted by the director with additional information. Temporary Library cards may only be used at the Bellmore Memorial Library.
