The Great Give Back is a day for the patrons of the public libraries of New York State to take part in meaningful, service-oriented experiences. We have service opportunities scheduled for all ages to participate!
FOR ADULTS
FIREFIGHTER THANK YOU CARDS AND APPRECIATION KITS
Wednesday, October 15 at 12pm
Show your appreciation for our local fire department by writing thank you cards and assembling candy care packages for first responders to enjoy. The library will provide supplies to make cards and kits. Please bring candy for the kits we will donate. Register HERE.
FOR TEENS (GRADES 6-12)
Friday, October 24 at 4pm
Teens will decorate a pencil case and fill it with first aid supplies for first responders. Register HERE.
FOR CHILDREN (AGES 3-12)
DROP-IN PROGRAM: CARDS FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Saturday, October 18 from 10am-4:30pm
Stop by the Children’s Room to create a card to thank our local heroes from the Bellmore Fire Department. Registration is recommended HERE.
